The Gin Bothy Experience
Bothy visitor rooms, a Bothy Larder, gin tastings and lots of hot and cold drinks with Bothy Bakery treats.
View and BookGreenacres is a newly opened CL site in a tranquil rural site nestled in the lovely village of Birkhill, 2 miles from Dundee City Centre and 2 miles off the A90. It boasts open aspects over the Sidlaw Hills and neighbouring Stables. It is ideal for walking or cycling. The 3/4 acre site is fairly flat and is in a very sunny spot with beautiful sunsets. We have 5 hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups, their own water and drainage and 2 grass pitches if you prefer. Green waste only please. We will always have a supply here for you if required.
Within walking distance there is a farm shop selling local produce and a pub with great food. If you fancy trying some sports there is clay pigeon shooting, fishing, quad biking, golf and tank driving all on our door step.
Kids can access local facilities such as Camperdown Country Park and Wildlife Centre. Pipedream Leisure Complex (2 miles) hosts a gym, pool, playbarn and many other exciting activities.
The local bus runs 1/2 hourly during the day into Dundee where you can visit the fabulous newly opened V & A museum, HMS Discovery and Sensations Centre. There are many great places to eat and a visit to Broughty Ferry or the historic town of St Andrews (home of golf) is a must.
Why not come and see us and visit the flourishing city of Dundee on route to the great NC 500.
