View and BookCollierhall is a tranquil site set on a small working farm in stunning countryside 1 mile from the M74. The site itself is situated on over 1 acre of land. Guests are able to choose their own pitch as there are a variety of options including level hardstanding, lawned and secluded. Pets and children are both welcome throughout the year and dog owners can make use of a number of attractive routes to walk your pets. The nearest town to the site is Lanark, which is 7 miles away where you will find the World Heritage Site of New Lanark and the spectacular Falls of the Clyde as well as a variety of pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a shop within a short walk for any essentials you require.
We are situated approximately 35 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow making us an ideal base for visiting these historic cities. However if you are just looking to relax on site you will find it surrounded by open fields and great views. If you are lucky enough to stay at the right time of year you can help yourself to the apples and plums from the trees that border the site.
We have a toilet and shower for visitor use and our latest addition is free WIFI which we hope will help to enhance your stay. There are also 8 power sockets spread throughout the site giving a variety of options for guests and chemical waste disposal if required.
We hope to see you soon!

Stayed here for 2 nights, needing just somewhere safe to over night for a trip to Glasgow. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. I needed hard standing which was provided. I was able to let my dogs out in the fields should I wish. Ideal for an overnight stop.

Lots of bad reviews. But hey, it's a farm and it's cheap. Perfect for overnight stay. Owner really helpful. Very soggy at the moment so parked on the hard standing. Old farm buildings, which the wildlife love and old machinery. If your looking for pristine , paved and perfect ... Show more

Very bumpy access by derelict buildings, hard standing by a dirty and mouldy “fresh water” point, some bloke sleeping in a car hooked up to electric. We only planned a one night stop over but did not stay, whole place looked unsafe. Club needs to inspect it

Just a few minutes off the M74 this site provides a useful stop off but we chose to stay two nights to look around the area. A day’s visit to The Falls of Clyde and New Lanark is definitely recommended. Sadly, this site fell well short of our expectations. It has... Show more

Disappointed that for a CL it had it had 15 units plus tents separated by wire fences. New showers filthy floors and overflowing waste bins.

My 5 star rating is based on the fact this is a farm CL so is a secondary concern not a main business. Very glad we ignored the previous bad review. Access is perfectly fine, yes it's not a pristine tarmac Road but potholes aren't large and not a problem if you... Show more

We only ever use CLs and this is probably the worst. Yes it’s a rural farm site, but still….. You drive down a rough potholed road and drive. Around some derelict & collapsed buildings to the very small camping area. There were 8 units there the night we stayed. One was... Show more

I had read previous reviews and was wondering what we would find. What we did find was a working farm, a very warm welcome and a lovely place to stay. Easy access to M74 and local points of interest. We will visit again.
