Inverness Certificated Locations

Inverness is small but fast-growing city in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, large enough to offer plenty of places to eat, drink and shop, but also a wonderful base for exploring the region.

The city itself has a castle and a cathedral, while nearby Culloden features the site of the last battle to be fought on British soil, when Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite forces suffered a final and decisive defeat.

There are also plenty of distilleries and mountains close by, with the Cairngorms within easy travelling distance to the south. Loch Ness and it's monster are just to the south-west of the city, while boating enthusiasts can walk the towpath of the Caledonian Canal.
