Why stay here ...
The Beeches is a long established countryside CL in a quiet location very close to Tentsmuir National Nature reserve. Halfway between St Andrews and Dundee with easy access by road to both. There is excellent walking and cycling directly from the site and access to Morton Lochs a short walk away. The Lochs lie at the entrance to the National Nature Reserve that has many lovely tracks and paths, hides for viewing wildlife and the magnificent beach that spreads for miles along the coast to St Andrews.
Our site is an area of well-maintained grass, slightly sloping in some areas with plenty of room to choose your pitch without feeling crowded. The site has a WC, fresh water, dustbins and chemical disposal point. We do not have electric hookups available.
Tayport is close by with a supermarket, golf course and other local facilities. A path from the entrance to Morton Lochs leads to the village, a distance of about 2 miles overall from the site.

Great for a stopover
Stayed here whilst travelling down the east coast of Scotland. Very easy to find, large site, quite level and adequate facilities. Very quiet overnight and just a couple of cars going to nature reserve. We only stayed one night so didnt have a chance to get the bikes off the rack... Show more

Nice site
Not sure if this is still a CAMC members only site, 6 other vans when we stayed, Nice and spacious spot under beech trees. Handy for our day in St Andrews,
