Dunfermline Certificated Locations

Dunfermline is a town in Fife in Scotland that's located right on the shores of the Firth of Forth. This makes for some spectacular scenery and a long and rich history.

Indeed, you can still see the substantial remains of Dunfermline Abbey on the Kirkgate and Abbott House nearby, the latter of which is the oldest secular building still standing in the town.

For walkers, the area is unrivalled - and you can get some good strolls in if you don't fancy too much exertion by heading towards relaxing Pittencrieff Park.

In terms of things to do, you'll be spoilt for choice thanks to the two theatres, host of shops, excellent selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants and opportunity to watch local football team Dunfermline Athletic play.

Also within easy reach are the Fife Coastal Path, Deep Sea World and the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum - and if you visit in August, don't miss the Bruce Festival for food, battle re-enactments and local handicrafts.
