A one night stopover after doing the NC500… a well maintained area (could need some minor levelling in places). Facilities for rubbish and a fresh water tap across the road. Very peaceful site, no road noise.

I stopped here for a few weeks never got tired of the view as the sun moved it gave a new look to the scenery. All you can hear are country sounds sheep, birds and the waterfalls of the river running beside the site which of course became more spectacular... Show more

Just spent a couple of nights here and it was perfect for us. Quiet, well kept and lovely dog walks straight from the site. The water tap location might be a bit of an issue for larger motorhomes as it's on the other side of the single track road with... Show more

Been here a few times over the years, and always enjoy it. Very basic with no power, but there's water, bins, and somewhere to empty the toilet tank. Nice mown field bordered by hedges and trees and has a great riverside walk straight from the site, an excellent short dog walk.... Show more

This is a fast disappearing type of site which is such a shame. The scenery was stunning and we were surrounded by nature. There was no need for electricity because we had the solar panel and gas. We walked every day direct from the site and explored... Show more
