Great stop over

We stayed over for one night at Largs, we were a little apprehensive as it was a Marina and we hadn't stopped anywhere like it before. This was proven to be unnecessary on our behalf! From the first contact on arrival, we were treated fantastically well, the people were so... Show more

Beautiful views and tranquil surroundings.

Second stay here and would definitely return . Clear e mail instructions for check in . The site is really just a car park with hook up and water at each pitch . Worth it for the amazing views towards Bute and Arran . Facilities in the marina are... Show more

Great views & walks

Instructions were easy to understand and the numberplate recognition is a great way to check-in without having to check-in. The views are stunning, the locals are friendly and the nights are peaceful. Thr black waste, behind the reception, was the best disposal system I've used...no juggling the cassette while trying to... Show more

Expensive car park. No good for large motor homes

You are sleeping in a car park , no good for any motor homes over 6metres. The grey waste and Epsom point are not close by and Lloyd how works in Scott’s bar is rude and only saw him working when the manager was there on Sunday. The cafe/coffee shop... Show more

Expensive carpark

Location is very nice, close to amazing restaurant and to Largs. Easy access and all information relating to the stay was texted to me prior to our arrival….but…… it is an expensive carpark and the pitches were too small to accommodate our 6m motorhome. Have no idea where the grey... Show more

A mix of highs and lows!

Okay for starters this is a CL. It isn't a full site and £40 per night is very pricey indeed for any CL. That said it's the only place within walking distance of Largs for getting to Millport. There is a free public car park at the entrance but there... Show more

Scenic, but expensive

Great views over the water to the islands, and good facilities. The hard standing over the whole site was ideal given the almost continual heavy rain, but precludes the use of awnings. However the site was marked out with rectangular pitches about 6 metres by 5 metres, with about... Show more

A lovely location but this is a car park!

This CL is in the corner of the car park with metal barriers and a plastic sign to indicate it is the CL. Be prepared for people to walk through the pitch areas on the site and sit on the benches in front of the van or to exercise... Show more

Yes it's expensive but there's not much choice within walking distance of Largs

Excellent location and as it's part of the Largs Yacht Haven you pay top dollar. It's efficent and you don't need to meet any staff however they are on site 24/7. All the facilities are clean, plus you have Scott's Restaurant and another cafe which is good for breakfasts all... Show more
