Fraserburgh stands at the northern end of the A90 north of Aberdeenshire, built around Kinnaird Head. As the leading shellfish port in Europe, it is a great place to come for the seafood, as well as the stunning coastal scenery.
The lighthouse on Kinnaird Head was the first ever built in Scotland and is now part of the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, featuring a wide array of artefacts.
Nature lovers will be in their element, with the rugged coastline and birdwatching in the local area and the Cairngorms National Park within easy reach. There are also numerous golf courses nearby and the local football team plays in the Scottish League.
