Markethill Certificated Locations

The village of Markethill is situated in the Irish County Armagh and it's a great place to head to if you want to get away from it all and experience some glorious Irish scenery.

It lies on the edge of Gosford Forest Park, so it's the perfect destination for both walkers and cyclists, as well as for wildlife spotters and photographers.

Highlights include tours with Guided Tours Ireland and Gosford Karting if you fancy some fun. There is also a regular livestock and produce market to stock up on locally grown items.

Each summer, Markethill is home to the world's biggest Lambeg drumming contest and it also welcomes Kilcluney Volunteers Flute Band every June for the biggest band parade in Europe.

Markethill is a great base for exploring the rest of County Armagh and its many historic attractions too.
