The market town of Larne is situated on the east coast of County Antrim in Northern Ireland and has a long history of being a bustling port.
Today is no different, with scores of people heading there each year to check out the scenery and heritage from other parts of the UK - and further afield.
There's plenty to see and do, with a picturesque promenade and refreshing walks towards the lighthouse at Sandy Bay.
Other highlights include Carnfunnock Country Park (which has adventure playgrounds for little ones), the ruins of Olderfleet Castle, Larne Museum & Arts Centre and Gleno Waterfall.
Larne offers plenty of places to eat and drink and a selection of shops, making it the ideal place to get away from it all, enjoy excellent views and partake in some invigorating coastal walks.
