Great Malvern Certificated Locations

A stunning town with a lovely hillside setting, Great Malvern originated as a spa village with therapeutic qualities attributed to its natural springs.

During the Georgian and Victorian periods, the town flourished, and this is reflected in the impressive architecture from these times.

Today, Great Malvern is a popular shopping destination, and there's an excellent selection of bookshops and antique dealers, as well as independent outlets selling furniture, fashion and food.

Theatre and music are also popular. The Malvern Theatres regularly hosts productions from the country's leading theatre companies. There's also the Theatre of Small Convenience - a transformed Victorian gentleman's lavatory, and the world record holder for world's smallest theatre. It seats just 12 people.

For a bit of outdoor adventure, head to the Malvern Hills. These offer a variety of walking routes perfect for hikers of all ages and abilities.
