Why stay here ...
Situated just outside of the Chapmanslade village, where you can find a local pub, Thoulstone Park offers a quiet location with grass pitches and electric hook-ups throughout. A shower block serves both our CL and small camping area, it is situated at the entrance of the CL and has designated toilets and showers exclusively for those staying on the site. There is a small carpark on site which can be used if the site is too wet.
A short trip by car, Longleat is only 3 miles away, Bath is 14 miles and Glastonbury is 27 miles if you fancy something a bit more lively. Dogs are welcome, with a bridleway nearby for countryside walks.

Disappointing!
Access was easy off the A36, but on arrival the owner forgot we had booked in so just done our own thing choosing where to pitch. He came to meet us later, seemed a nice chap. We were promised a bin to put our rubbish in but 7 days later... Show more

OK but note actual price for hook up
Stayed here for two nights and found it ok but fairly underwhelming. The first thing to note is that if you are using the electric hook up, it is actually £24 per night, not £20. We had the field to ourselves and there were two toilets and showers... Show more

Perfect chilled site
Very calm, great location for Longleat, Frome, Bath and plenty more. The owner, Steve, will go out of his way to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really helpful
Had another lovely stay even though the weather was poor. "Scarey" towed the van out with his 4x4 in case our car wasn't up to the muddy conditions. A really kind and helpful site owner.

A friendly welcome and good facilities
We received a friendly and helpful welcome and given plenty of information about the local area. "Scary" even left us apples for our return on the first day. A real bonus is the toilet and shower facilities available.

Great little quotes apot
We were really impressed how easy our stay was made. "Scary" was really helpful with our group. He brought ice creams for the kids and and gave them apples. We had such an amazing time and will be back when in the area. A great host and location was perfect... Show more
