First mentioned in the Domesday Book as ‘Straburg’, Trowbridge is an ancient and charming town where you can explore the countryside and indulge in some of the delicious local produce offered at the many markets.

Courts Garden is nearby and here you can see some truly beautiful flowers and foliage in a number of different gardens.

Trowbridge Museum can offer a fascinating way to spend a few hours, for children and adults alike. There is plenty to discover about the town’s history, including Trowbridge Castle, which no longer exists.
