Why stay here ...

Hall Croft consists of one acre set within open meadows just 1 mile from the delightful spa town of Ilkley (home to the famous Ilkley Moor). There are five individual hard standing pitches each with electric hook ups installed and offering superb views across the Wharfe valley and Beamsley Beacon from this elevated position. There is excellent access for outfits of all sizes regardless of the time of year and the site is kept well mown and maintained across all seasons. The site is open all year and only deep snow would prevent vehicle access. Children are welcome and up to two well-behaved dogs per group. Awnings incur no extra charge.

Ilkley lies in the picturesque Wharfedale region on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The River Wharfe flows through the town and within approx 300m of the site and is the perfect location for trout fishing. Ilkley is the starting point of the Dales Way Footpath to Windermere. We recommend a hike to Ilkley's Cow and Calf Rocks for a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Walkers shouldn't miss out on the descent to the famous Grove shopping street with its renowned Betty's Tea Rooms or maybe a gourmet lunch or dinner at the Michelin starred Box Tree Restaurant. In summer months, Ilkley's open air Lido and swimming pool are the perfect places to cool down after a hot day.

Located within a few miles of the site are a number of other great visitor attractions including the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate, and the Hockney Art Gallery. Guests should also visit as many of the nearby popular tourist towns as possible. Haworth was home to the famous Brontë family and still holds the parsonage in which they lived. Harrogate is renowned for its Spa elegance, shopping facilities and beautiful gardens. Skipton is known as the 'Gateway to the Dales' and boasts some impressive attractions such as Skipton Castle and cruises along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Other worthwhile visits include Saltaire village, which is listed as a world heritage site, Bingley for the 'Five Rise Locks' on the Leeds Liverpool Canal or simply enjoy a trip to the Yorkshire Dales ice cream parlour and American diner at Halton East.

Please note: This CL does not offer electric car charging.
