Excellent serviced pitch on a very peaceful site

We returned to this excellent CL site after our first visit last month as it is peaceful with a very convenient serviced pitch. All the facilities are very clean and well kept and there is also a very clean "on site" toilet. We would certainly recommend this site... Show more

Excellent, Peaceful and Friendly CL Site

We would thoroughly recommend this excellent CL site. From booking to leaving we received friendly and helpful attention from the owners. It was super to have a serviced pitch and the toilet on site was very clean. The field was very well maintained as was the rubbish, recycling and... Show more

Excellent CL, we'll be back!

This is a fantastic CL in a beautiful location. A friendly welcome and help getting in the narrow entrance (call Richard when 5 minutes out and he'll guide you in - to be honest our motorhome was easy, we guided ourselves out), and then settle in to the fully serviced... Show more

Probably the best C.L we have stayed at for many years.

This C;L. is amongst the very best we have used in over 40 years. Everything neatly to hand and the levelling flags are a very welcome touch. We have a 61 year old caravan which is only 1.95 m wide, but it is easy to see how extreme care will... Show more

Fabulous quiet little site

Fabulous little site lovely scenery and walks nearby. Only downside was getting in and out of the site but the owners were on hand with great directions and helped on and off the site through the narrow road. Wonderful friendly helpful owners we will definitely be back 😀

Very enjoyable stay

We have really enjoyed this site. Everything is as described. It is important to follow the directions on here and given by Richard. By doing this, we had no problems with access, but due to the extremely wet weather of late, we did have to be towed in to position.... Show more

A Lovely Site and Great Owner

A beautiful site just outside Halifax. Water and electric on the pitch. And, level slabs to put your caravan wheels on. Richard, the owner, is a great man. Please, please take my experienced advice. Avoid in the dark arrival. Unless you have a 4x4, avoid wet conditions…. Here’s THE most important bit…. Call Richard... Show more

First time in a motor home. Terrific welcome and lovely chat with the owner. Great walks, fabulous National Trust properties nearby (Hardcastle Crags was one of our best walks ever). Small site, so not crowded. Drain, water & lecky, what more do you want?! Plus lovely clean loos! All round... Show more
