Very noisy from fields on 3 sides also being used for camping.

In the field I was in there was 5 units. But, in the field to the left another 4-5, the big field to the right masses of people and porta loos, and the field below (pump field) there was one big van and a large group of youngsters. ... Show more

Great find

Spent 2 nights so peaceful only birdsong all day. A short walk to beautiful estuary. Woodland walks or just a relaxing time spent highly recommended. May get busy in holiday time as acess to slipway and water sports.

Idyllic

This is our favourite campsite. A hidden gem on the South Coast within easy access of Chichester and the South Downs. A walk through the woods takes you to a breathtaking view of the sea. Judy who runs the site could not be more gracious or helpful.... Show more

A charming CL

You really can't get much closer to the harbour than this site! We were pretty much on our own for three nights and were very happy with it. Just a short walk to the harbour where we were able to launch our kayak (£3 fee to the owner payable with the... Show more

Lovely site

This is a basic, no electric, site which we have really enjoyed. Access is good but not very well signposted. Basically just keep going until you reach the big house at the end. Then turn left, drive a bit further and you will find the CL on... Show more

Lovely campsite

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. There is a long private road down to the site (mostly flat & perfect for young cyclists). It consists of a few small fields, all of which feel relaxed and quiet. Chichester harbour is a 2 minute walk from the site and... Show more

Choose timings carefully

We spent five nights on this site with our caravan in June 2018. On the plus side Mike and Judy were friendly. There is easy access to all the wonderful places nearby and the walk down to the harbour and up to Chidham is an absolute delight. Great for dogs.... Show more

peace and tranquility

We visited Mrs Beale's lovely site in February and had discussed where to pitch our motorhome with Mike prior to arriving. The field was (understandably) waterlogged due to the usual winter weather! parking on the hard entryway to the field was certainly the best way forward and enabled us to... Show more
