View and BookChalcroft Cottage CL is a quiet site set on approximately 1.5 acres of lawned grass on the edge of Bognor Regis with easy access to town, seaside and countryside. The Beach is about a mile away along flat quiet roads, perfect for walking or cycling, and from the footpath adjacent to the site there are wonderful views to the South Downs and Chichester Cathedral. Bognor Regis itself boasts a 2.5 mile promenade perfect for strolling along or for wheelchair users, crazy golf along the seafront, shops and cafes a recently restored Hotham Park with its miniature train and park cafe and a full events calendar in the summer with something for everyone! The beach regularly flies the European Blue Flag for being a clean and safe beach with good facilities. Bognor Regis is consistently in the top five of the sunniest places in Britain.
The site is well placed for exploring the beautiful county of West Sussex, with easy access by car, bus or train to Portsmouth and Southampton to the West and Worthing and Brighton to the East. The nearby City of Chichester and towns of Arundel and Littlehampton offer plenty of scope for days out for all tastes, from sightseeing and shopping to water sports, fishing and the theatre with Chichester Festival Theatre only 6 miles away. Bognor Regis itself has a fine independent cinema The Picturedrome which offers very good value for money on the latest film releases in a beautiful old listed building with a wonderful ambiance. Various activities held at Goodwood throughout the year including the Racing Calendar and Motor events are also within easy reach as Goodwood is approximately 8 miles from the site.

An early season break at this spacious CL. Having said that the approach lane isn't. Owners of new 8ft. caravans will have to breathe in. Water pressure makes filling an aqua roll or motorhome tank need the addition of reading material while you wait. Ground seems fairly firm and well... Show more

Final approach to this CL is pretty much as described in the handbook. That right turn just past the left turn into Westmeads Drive is a narrow turning between two sets of bollards where there is also a green public footpath sign. These quickly bring you to halt in front... Show more
