Love the remote control gate

Hampton House Farm
This was our very first caravan trip which didn't go very well, but that's not a fault of the site. We only took delivery of our caravan that week and hadn't figured everything out yet. The site has a gentle slope so is difficult to get out when the ground is soaked. Unfortunately for us, the UK had some heavy rain prior to our arrival and despite walking around on foot it seemed OK. As soon as I towed the caravan on there we got stuck so we just pitched up where we were as there was no one else there. The surrounding area is very quiet, no traffic noise, and there are nice walks. The entry system is brilliant and secure and doesn't require the owner to be around. Shame we picked our first weekend away with not-so-good weather, maybe we will come back next year when the ground is firmer. Carolyn was very helpful and pleasant and towed us out when we wanted to leave so it wasn't a problem really.

Very convenient good size site

Hampton House Farm
We loved the location, so close to Compton Verney and Charlcote. Very secure and easy access .Nice spacious site that was mown . Some nice open views. We had plenty of space. There is a rally site /storage nearby, some traffic down the lane to access this. The slight surprise was the flights around 6am, which crossed over, Just need some ear plugs if you tend to awake easily . But in balance so convenient .

Beautiful Site

Hampton House Farm
A super site. Lovely condition and pitches are very well spaced. Quite a few national trust sites nearby and plenty of walks. Will be back for sure

Nice spot

Hampton House Farm
Overall the site is very nice. Good views and peaceful surroundings. Disappointed to find 6 vans on one night. Pitch markings could be better. We had a caravan very close for one night - would have been disappointed if they not just an overnight stay.

Nice remote site

Hampton House Farm
Lovely little site in the middle of nowhere, no distant road noise at all, a rarity these days! Handy for walking to Compton Verney and the pretty village of Combrook directly from the site. Nice little picnic area provided with a small lake. Can't comment on the owners much as just handed over the money and that was it. There is a bit of traffic in the lane next to the site with people going to their vans in the nearby storage compound field which appears also to be the rally field. In fact we counted 6 vans in the storage field where the people stayed overnight although they didn't bother us at all. Very peaceful sleep both nights we were there. Also must mention the hares, they seem very brave, we had a couple not 5 yards from the van!
