A good place to unwind

A good time of year to visit. We had the camping area to ourselves, and a great view over the sheep and their lambs. Yes, it is very basic but adequate. The owner is very welcoming. Access would not suit longer units, but... Show more

Needs updating

All grass pitches on very uneven ground all over. Electric hook up on one side of field only so traffic to and from pitches 1,2 and 3 will run over hook up cables. Post war toilet(just!) is shared with customers wishing to empty their cassette( no other option!) No hand... Show more

What a find

This site is tranquillity itself lovely and peaceful, and wonderful views. The owner was very welcoming with interesting tales and information about the history and the area. The well maintained site is just up a single track road just off the bypass but we heard very little if any traffic... Show more

This is a lovely, peaceful little site with beautiful surroundings. We are the only unit here, but it might feel tight if the field was full. The owner gave us a good welcome. Access is easy. There is hook-up but it's a no-frills site; the toilet and elsan disposal is all... Show more

Lovely spot but needs attention

As with comments in all other reviews, the field is nice, well located & the owner pleasant but the CL is let down by its facilities and the adjacent A road and flight path above create a lot of noise. The WC is less than basic, having no hot... Show more

Pleasant tidy field, facilities basic but adequate

I chose this CL for its location near the Oxford Canal, of which I walked two sections while here. Tim Seden had mentioned that he may be away when we arrived, which he was, so we needed to ask other caravanners about facilities, but Tim arrived back on our last... Show more
