Why stay here ...

Deb and Gary would like to welcome you to our CL situated in the heart of England.

Our hardstanding site is situated on our coarse fishery, complete with a café and full fishing tackle shop. We are a no awning site, offering fresh water and elsan disposal facilities.

The main attraction to our site is our situation next door to Berkswell local train station, which serves the main Birmingham to London Euston Line, with access to the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham Airport just 2 local stops along the line. Journey time, approximately 6 minutes. So for all those shows you wish to visit, including the popular caravan and motorhome show, then our site could not be more convenient.

Our café is open every day from 08.30am till 1.00pm serving hot food, and freshly ground coffee, with a full English breakfast being our speciality! The café toilets are available to all during these times.

We have 4 pubs within walking distance of the site, 3 of which offer a food service.
These are, The Railway Inn, The Brickmakers Arms, The George in the Tree, and The White Horse.

We are also within easy walking distance of the local village of Balsall Common, which offers a Tesco Express, pharmacy, Fish and Chip shop, local Co-Op store, La Stalla Italian restaurant, 3 Indian restaurants, and a post office. This will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to walk.

Finally, our location in the heart of England, gives easy access to all the local tourist towns, including Kenilworth, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa.

We are an adult only site: check in from 1pm, check out by 11am

Wonderful!

I booked this site to attend Crufts last week with my caravan. I read the recent poor reviews but wasn’t put off, thank goodness I stuck to my guns! Yes, the drive was bumpy but just drive slowly, no issues! HS2 is being built locally but it’s only 8-6 and... Show more

Disappointing

I echo the previous review. The very potholed track makes access very bumpy, holes were filled with water making it impossible to know how deep they were. very concerned our van would be damaged. The only positive was the friendly welcome. Despite booking a CL pitch we later discovered we... Show more

Next to noisy building site

Access down very long hill dirt track with potholes literally all the way. Fortunately it hadn't been raining. Hard standing no hook, up at the top of the site. Hook up, fresh water and Elsan point by cafe. The railway was not noisy, however at bottom of site... Show more

Great for NEC

With local train station through a coded pedestrian gate, this is perfect for attending shows at NEC, or visiting Birmingham etc. site is picturesque against the fishing lakes. Even though railway runs alongside, it didn’t disturb our sleep. The HS2 work is currently near the site, but again, no noise... Show more

Perfect for one night stop

We used the site as a one night stop and Gary was very helpful on the phone for booking and meeting on site. Cafe on site. Would use again in the same situation.
