Why stay here ...

Home Farm CL is a beautiful site set in 1.5 acres of well mown grass within an established and peaceful orchard. There are views over a wild meadow and onto the farm land. Home Farm is a working family farm with plenty of walks from the site.

Home Farm CL has a modern toilet facility. The pitches are located amongst the beautiful old trees providing privacy and shade. The grass is kept short and neat.

We are in Mid-Suffolk just off the A140 (the main Ipswich to Norwich road) and three minutes from the A14 making it an accessible site for exploring both Suffolk and Norfolk. Some of the main tourist attractions include the Suffolk coastal towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold and Felixstowe. We are about 30 minutes from Bury St Edmunds with its historic cathedral and Abbey Gardens and about 40 minutes from the old towns of Lavenham and Long Melford.

The site is located at the end of a 1 mile track with ample passing places all the way along.

The site is open from April to October.

What a lovely place, you won’t see anyone unless you need to. You can practically pitch where you like the grass was cut nice, a very quiet site at the end of a lane I see some have commented on the fact it is a long lane with little passing... Show more

Peaceful site

We stayed at Home Farm for two nights in September 2019. It is a long single track road to access the site, but we didn't have any problems towing our caravan. We were told we could pitch up wherever we liked, so decided on a spot between an... Show more

August 2012

Site set in a 2-acre orchard on a farm at the end of a 1-mile single track lane - lane quite narrow and has considerable distances between passing places, which could be tricky as the lane is used by farm traffic and lorries. Setting is beautifully peaceful and there's plenty of... Show more
