Why stay here ...
Goldings is set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, down a country lane. The site is located on a 0.5 acre field and all pitches are level and well-maintained. The grass is cut and collected so that grass is not carried into your Caravan, and therefore groundsheets are not allowed. All pitches have access to electric hook-ups and plenty of space for awnings. We provide a shower and toilet for guests to use including hot and cold water and a shaving point. A laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer is also available at a small charge. Tourist information and home produce are available in the laundry room and we encourage all our guests to use our recycle bins. Children and pets are welcome at the site.
There is direct access from the site to the surrounding fields and footpaths.
The site is in an excellent location for exploring Suffolk and the Heritage coast, including the charming seaside resort of Southwold. The local towns of Woodbridge, Stowmarket and Ipswich are all within easy reach. There is a small local shop within one mile of the site and the village of Debenham, which is only 4 miles from the site, offers an excellent butchers, grocers, newsagents, cafe and Co-Op Store.
At Goldings we also offer self-catering accommodation for guests that would like to bring friends or relatives who do not have a caravan. Our Barn Cottages accommodation offers all home-from-home comforts with direct access to the cottage garden.

Peaceful site-ideal for dogs

I am almost afraid to write a positive review as this gem may become too booked up for when we want to stay again. The site was so peaceful and very easy to find. Unfortunately, the weather was awful with heavy rain nearly every day, but the level site drained very well.
The welcome board with pitch allocation worked so well.
What really sold the site to us was that there was immediate access directly to footpaths and fields for our 2 Labradors, this was especially welcome with the rain; we didn't have to put wet dogs into the car.
Not to be deterred by the rain, we still visited Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, Snape Malting, 100th Bomb Group Museum in Diss & the Crown Pub in Stowupland-well worth a visit.
We will certainly be back! Thank you to the lady who was covering for Maria, she was very welcoming.

Perfect
Goldings
Located in a beautiful and remote location, you are surrounded by peace and serenity with only the sound of nature ( and the occasional “Baa”) to disturb. Was lucky enough to share the site with only one other, and found the tv and Wi-Fi reception very good. The shower and WC facilities were a huge bonus and were perfectly functional and spotless.
I will certainly be back 😎

We have just spent the last 3 days on this lovely little CL site called Goldings CL Caravan site at Stonham Aspal Nr Stowmarket Our Pitch was £20 for 2 adults with EHU and awning . We was greeted by a lovely lady called “Jo” just after we arrived on site to tell us what was there and where it was. It has toilet - shower plus clothes washing / drying machine. Very well kept grass pitches and peaceful just the birds singing and sheep grazing in the next field and far enough away from road noise. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the “Stonham Barnes Park” where there is always something for everyone to pass some time away. This CL is well worth a visit we will definitely be back.

Spacious, peaceful and quiet, what more could you ask:
This is a beautiful site in a great location for touring throughout Suffolk. Approach and access roads are easy to negotiate. Your allocated pitch is displayed on the board at the entrance and pitching up couldn't be easier. Well maintained lawn with plenty of space for all. The owner, Maria, was away on holiday so we were greeted by Jo. What a wonderful lady Jo is; warm and welcoming, engaging personality, full of life and only too ready to provide any help she can. Probably the best host we have experienced in all of our travels.
