Situated in Suffolk, Halesworth is a pretty market town that's ripe for exploration, whether you want to explore some natural beauty or get in a spot of retail therapy.

Start your visit with a stroll along the town's Thoroughfare. This pedestrianised area features many buildings dating back to the sixteenth century, and today it's home to a number of boutique shops and independent retailers.

There's also a weekly outdoor market that takes place on Wednesday mornings, and the popular Halesworth Antiques Street Market is held every year on the Summer Bank Holiday Sunday.

If you're looking to get a bit of fresh air, head to Millennium Green on the east side of town. Spanning over 50 acres, it has plenty of footpaths, as well as excellent views, a hide and a community orchard. Cyclists are also well catered for in Halesworth since the town is situated on National Cycle Route 1.
