Why stay here ...

Welcome to Field of Dreams – come in through the gate and forget the outside world!

We are a Motorhome/Adult only site looking out over unspoilt fields. On a clear day, you can see across open land to the Water Tower at Caister, some 12 miles away. In the fields adjacent to our site, we are privileged to regularly see deer, hares, marsh harriers and every other kind of native wildlife running and flying freely. We have our own pond, and open grass area for sitting, relaxing or exercising your dog on its lead.

All of our pitches are hardstanding, have individual 16amp electric and freshwater tap, giving the opportunity to enjoy the site all year round. The entrance gate is operated by electric keypad, with CCTV monitoring entrances for security and peace of mind.

The village is fortunate to still have a thriving pub, The White Lion and a busy farm shop, at the nearby Clinks Care Farm. There is also a 13th Century Norman church, with unusual octagonal tower, all within walking distance. There are many circular walks and bike rides from the site, keeping you away from busy roads.

The Norfolk Broads are right on our doorstep, with their natural looking landscapes, mills and windpumps dotted on nearly every horizon. Reedham Ferry – the last working chain ferry in the East of England is a joy to experience and can easily be reached by bike or car.

Or if you prefer, venture further afield to the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft, with their history stemming from being old fishing towns, they have much to see and experience. Only 16 miles away is the Cathedral City of Norwich, with its many historical wonders, and its twist into the modern day the shopping malls, and department stores. Closer to the site are the quieter towns of Beccles & Bungay, with Southwold & Aldeburgh all having their local history and tales to tell, all within easy driving distances.

Our site is newly established, so we are waiting on the 1000 hedge plants, 60 trees and grass areas to mature, but it still is a picture to see, so do come and relax in the peace and tranquillity.

Taken from the film Field of Dreams – “if you build it, he will come”! The site is now built, we hope you will come…………

Perfect

Spent 10 nights on this site and didn’t regret a single night. Both the owners have certainly worked hard to ensure the site is a pleasure to visit and wanted to know if there were any suggestions to improve the site, there wasn’t. It is a new site so the... Show more

Very peaceful

A lovely site with easy access, narrow lane approach but plenty of passing points, only stayed the 1 night, but would loved to have stayed longer.

Great new site

Just back from 2 nights at this new site. It’s so quite, the pitch we had, had fantastic views. Watching the Deer, Red Kite, Hares and Partridges. All you could hear was……Nothing. It’s a 20 min walk to the local pub, which had a lovely feel. They are not doing food... Show more
