Stone Certificated Locations

Stone is an historic market town located between Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford, making it an ideal location from which to explore the county.

The town itself offers fine waterside walks, either by the River Trent or alongside the Trent and Mersey canal.

To the north, the southern outskirts of Stoke feature Trentham Gardens, with its shopping centre and monkey forest, featuring Barbary macaques - the only wild apes that live in Europe courtesy of their residence on the Rock of Gibraltar.

Beyond Stafford lies the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while to the east are the Staffordshire Moorlands, which make up part of the Peak District National Park.
