What a find !!!

Weston House
I didn't want to write this review as I wanted to keep this site to myself. Sue, the owner, was very responsive to any emails I sent her. The site has some hardstandings but we had no issues finding a level grass pitch for our 7 metre home. The site is beautifull with great views and outstanding sunsets, I would attach a picture but unable to do this on CAMC. From the birds singing early morning to the owls, badgers and bats at night, you couldn't ask for a more perfect relaxing environment. There are two fresh water points available and recycling and black waste point. A small information hut is also on site. Close to local amenities but far away enough for peace and relaxation. Cannot wait to return.

Surrounded by nature

Weston House
This is a lovely peaceful site surrounded by farmland on the edge of a small village. Access is down a short stretch of narrow lane but hardly saw any traffic on it during our time on site. The field to pitch in was easy to find with obvious signs. There was hard standing so no worries about getting stuck after the recent wet weather. The information hut included OS maps of the local area available to borrow as well as leaflets about local attractions. The service point was easy to use with good recycling facilities. Throughout our stay there was plenty of wildlife to watch including a hare and squirrels. The birdsong was lovely to listen to, and about the only sound apart from a few cows mooing. A short drive away are Montacute House and Ham Hill which are lovely areas for walking, both with great views across the Somerset countryside. Yeovil is only a short distance away with supermarkets etc. Nice friendly owner. A site we would love to return to. Thanks for a beautiful site.

A beautiful lawned site.

Weston House
Thank you for our short stay 19th to 21st April. This site comprises a beautiful lawn with picnic benches and has easy access from a village Lane. There are 2 drinking water points, and a fenced off waste disposal point with chemical loo disposal and recycling bins. Lovely views West to the Blackdown Hills and there are nearby footpaths on high ground above the village. A woodland dog walk is just 100yds down the Lane. We walked the 3 miles, or so, to Montacute House (NT) using good tracks and very quiet lanes. Currently there is building work ongoing across the road from the entrance, but we didn’t find this intrusive, and in normal times this site would be a rural idyll.

Peaceful and Tranquil!

Weston House
We absolutely love this site and is in our list of regular must stops. The owners are lovely people who gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The site has an area for 3 hardstandings and is also plentiful for grass pitching. Sue and Andy keep the grass regularly cut so wildlife is easy to see. In our time there we have seen badgers, foxes, rabbits and squirrels amongst a whole host of bird life. There is an information hut near to the w.c area where the bins are. We recommend this site to anyone and will be returning here regularly for well earned breaks in the future.
