Whether it's fishing from our own riverbank (rod licence required and strictly no fishing during closed season March 15th-June 15th), walking the miles of public footpaths direct from site, visiting local attractions, just relaxing on your 100 M2 pitch, enjoying the views and the wildlife or making use of our indoors recreation areas playing pool or table tennis. Motorhome drinking water and grey water disposal points.

Great place to stopover
Newbridge House
Great new site just outside Taunton where we were meeting friends. A very helpful Nigel met us on arrival and showed us the facilities which were all clean and tidy. The pitches are level and well kept with flower baskets to brighten them up. There was a bit of traffic noise from the road nearby, apparently more than usual due to a nearby road closure and diversion. Our very pleasant walk to the local pub (The Rising Sun) took us 3/4 hr. along the riverbank (geese, swans and a heron spotted) and into the village of Knapp. The pub is lovely, with great Beer and Cider, but be sure to 'phone ahead as it was so quiet they had closed the kitchen! - The very helpful staff managed to conjure-up a couple of bowls of chips for us tho'. Most enjoyable stay.

Newbridge House
Absolutely fabulous cl on the banks of the river Tone with direct access on to river path. New this year (‘24), the owners have spent alot of time, effort and money making this a lovely place to stay. The pitches are lawned with the grass kept short and grass cuttings picked up. There is a huge array of walks available directly from the site which can include visits to an array of lunch options including pubs,cafes, coffee shops and tea rooms. There is also an indoor games room with table tennis and pool table.

Newbridge House
We have just had a lovely 2 night stay at Newbridge House and what a lovely site it is. The location is beautiful with lots of lovely walks with the site being located right next to the River. Lots to do nearby but this CL also has a neat trick up it's sleve if you get caught short for something to do, an indoor games area with pool and table tennis. Very well kept and Nigel and Gail are lovely and very welcoming. This is a site that we will definitely return to.
Fantastic Site
Newbridge House
Nestled in the Somerset countryside, what a beautiful place to stay. We booked in for two nights while visiting the local area and loved it so much we stayed for four. With a river running alongside there are plenty of walks and so peaceful. Nigel & Gail were very accommodating & so helpful. We will definitely return & I have a feeling this new site will be very popular. The best we have visited.
