Only reason I dont give this a full 5 stars is confusion on access. The farm style gate says 'camping field' but next to it a sign says 'pitch up', after driving into pitch up, thinking that is where they want us to stop to be allocated a pitch,... Show more

I needed a one-night stay-over in my campervan on the way up North and this was perfect. Really easy to find, easy access, electric hook-up, toilet and shower...everything I needed. Also, the pitch is very quiet and level. Annabel was really lovely and checked that I was set up okay. All... Show more

Level lawned site, very well maintained. Easy access from M5. Excellent cycling base for Somerset. Old Spot bakery in Mark (about a mile away) is particularly good. Wookey Hub cafe in Wookey (not in Wookey Hole) is also worth a visit. We stayed here in July and came back in... Show more

Really tranquil site with warm welcome. All facilities excellent, especially beautifully kept lawned area for the site. Would definitely consider returning, and that's not something we usually do!

A lovely, level, well-tended site easily accessed from the M5. We used it as a one-night stopover because of its closeness to the motorway. We received a very friendly welcome from Mr & Mrs Petheram. The price we paid was the minimum quoted in last year's Sites Directory. A shower... Show more

Just spent a great week at this site. Lovely welcome from the owners who keep the site immaculate. No groundsheets allowed but not a problem. Nice, peaceful site and within easy reach of coast and countryside. Our first time in Somerset, loved it and will definitely return.

This site is near to the M5 junction but you cannot hear the traffic. The last 1/4mile is a single track road with a dyke on one side and no passing places luckily its very quiet. Once you arrive at the site which is a small field, you enter... Show more
