Whether you are planning to roam around the neighbouring villages or drive for days out, our site’s location is fantastic for a wide range of guests, offering a variety of locations and activities just a short distance away from the campsite itself.
The campsite is situated at the foot of The Knoll, making it a perfect spot for lovely country walks, and as we love dogs ourselves the site is dog-friendly. The delightful Ralph’s Wood is just a 5 minute walk away, and just like our campsite also welcomes dogs.
Our campsite is found within the village of East Brent, a charming village that every August hosts the famous Harvest Home festival, and happens to be the home of the very first one of these in Somerset.
Close by within a 15-minute drive you will find the 2 lovely seaside towns Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-On-Sea, with the option for the traditional market town of Taunton also only a 25 minute drive away. In addition to this, found a similar distance away is the famous Cheddar Gorge, which offers spectacular walks as well as access to the caves.
For those interested in fishing also, just a 10 minute drive away is Shiplake fishery which offers day passes, making it ideal for those camping locally (See a photo of the lake in our pictures). Whether you are planning to roam around the neighbouring villages or drive for days out, our site’s location is fantastic for a wide range of guests, offering a variety of locations and activities just a short distance away from the campsite itself.
