Why stay here ...

Our CL is located on a working farm and livery yard where we have a young vineyard and our own distillery. We are just off the A39 which gives easy access (including bus routes) to the cities of Bath, Bristol and Wells along with links to the Bristol Channel resorts of Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon and Burnham-on-Sea. We are a 30 acre farm with 1 acre set aside for the CL.

Home produced sausages, cider, wine, gin and other spirits are available to purchase on site from our own vineyard and distillery. It is possible to participate in one of our cider making or tasting courses with booking in advance on selected dates. Home produced sausages and faggots– and other meat products are available, please ask.

The site is located in a flat field with good access and sheltered by a mature hedge. We support sustainable farming principles so at certain times of the year we allow the flower meadows to grow to ensure good seed heads are set, hedges remain untrimmed to ensure wildlife has a sanctuary and good winter food supply and bird nesting in the spring. Our hardstandings sometimes have weeds in them - this is because we do not use weed killer or other harmful chemicals on our farm, as we also have bees and following organic principles. In breeding season, the grass is not always neatly mowed - however this does means there is an extensive variety of wild life, including many types of birds, to be seen during your stay.

Our electric hook-up points give out 16amps of power.

Wi-Fi is not available, if needed please bring your own Dongle

Our local pub the Butchers Arms is a 5-minute drive away and serves both excellent food and beer.

The local villages all have small but well stocked shops with chip shops in both Timsbury and High Littleton and a Chinese in Temple Cloud.

There is a bus stop 5-10 minutes away from the site. First Bus service 522 passes at regular intervals from Bath to Bristol if needed.

Please try avoiding Bath & Bristol, as they now have a very expensive CAZ to drive through. If you still wish to traverse Bath & Bristol, you will need to use the following website to check your vehicle and if needs be pay for your transit: https://www.gov.uk/clean-air-zones. Please note that the fee is per day and you can go in and out as many times as you want, per day.

For details about our site please check our website or email us.

Jackie and Tim look forward to welcoming you to their CL.
