Why stay here ...

The site is secluded and quiet with a view of one of Shropshire's best known landmarks, the Wrekin Hill which is just a short drive away and is ideal for walking and enjoying the splendid views.

There are eight pubs within three miles of the park including a real ale pub in the village and the majority of these pubs offer good home cooked food.

For those who enjoy cycling we are located on Route 81 National Cycle Route and for walkers there is an extensive network of local foot paths and lanes.

The medieval town of Shrewsbury, which is the birth place of Charles Darwin, is just five miles away. A busy town set in the loop of the River Severn with a Castle and a diverse range of shops, museums, restaurants, theatre and a cinema.

Other things to do nearby include:-

  • The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the birthplace of industry, with many museums.
  • Wroxeter Roman City (English Heritage) and Wroxeter Roman Vineyard.
  • The National Trust property  Attingham Park -  a popular mansion house and estate with a beautiful walled garden and woodland walks.
  • Much Wenlock  the home of the modern day Olympic Games is a small Shropshire medieval town which is quintessentially English.
  • The Severn Valley Steam Railway which runs from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster.
  • The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford.
  • The modern shopping centre at Telford.

There is a caravan washing facility at the site which is complimentary.

Brian and Josie look forward to welcoming you to their CL.

Lovely Peaceful Site

Wrekin View Caravan Site
Just spent a week here and was so impressed I’ve decided to leave a review. It’s perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay with outstanding views of the surrounding area. Very well maintained by Brian who has a lot of knowledge of the surrounding area and places to visit. He is genuinely a really nice chap. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend to others.

Super little site

Wrekin View Caravan Site
Super little site, each pitch is plenty large enough. Brian popped by to say hello and advise us of the area although sadly we only had 1 night as we were on our way to Chester. Weather was beautiful therefore the views are stunning. 10 minute stroll to local village pub Hare and Hounds which was extremely welcoming although closing for refurbishment which the locals appear pleased with. Give it a go.. what a find!!

Perfect for lovers of quiet, scenic CLs

Wrekin View Caravan Site
Our third visit here and cannot fault anything. Pitches are spacious, slightly sloping but well drained and firm ground. Narrow single track lanes approaches but with plenty of passing places. Great access to loads of interesting places, incl NT and EH, as well as towns and villages. The site does indeed have views of the Wrekin, the nearby village and surrounding fields. Beautiful area of Shropshire. Brian keeps the site immaculate with well trimmed grass, neat hedges and potted flowers in season. Tidy CDP and recycling area. Quirky collected items add to the interest.
