Woodville is a quiet campsite located in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Shropshire hills. It backs onto the stunning Earls Hill Nature reserve and Pontesford hill. The site is located on a large field and each pitch has access to electric, water and grey waste points. There is also plenty of space for awnings. Children and dogs are both welcome throughout the year.
Woodville is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, with many walks to be taken direct from the site. Within walking distance is the village of Pontesbury, which has a local bakery/butcher, a supermarket, restaurants and pubs.
The historic market town of Shrewsbury is a short drive away by car or there is a bus service located close to the site. We are near to several industrial and agricultural heritage centres such as Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and the market towns of Much Wenlock, Ludlow and those across the border to Wales.
The site is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for walking.
Shrewsbury is a short drive away and the National Flower Show is held here every year.
Welshpool is also a short drive and plays host to the famous steam railway.

Excellent site
Just here 1 night at moment on a flying visit. Great little site.Very spacious serviced pitches.Toilet block very good and clean with plenty of hot water. Pitch electric metered if required which gives you the option if like us you've a camper van for only 1 night. Sarah and David... Show more

Simply perfect!
What a wonderful little haven for total relaxation. A very warm welcome from hosts Sarah & Dave to a very clean and tidy site. Fantastic site

Needs some care and attention
It’s a shame because the owners are very friendly and helpful but the site deteriorates every year, with weeds in the hard standing, grass needed cutting and rubbish in virtually every corner. The access road is very tight so needs the vegetation trimming often. On the plus side, the shower... Show more

Perfect Haven

Doggy delight

Nice relaxing peaceful site
Lovely site with 5 hard standing fully serviced pitch for £22. We arrived and Dave came up to welcome us with his beautiful dog made us feel welcome from the very start. Definitely will return thank you.
