A very peaceful CL with friendly owners, who gave us some good tips for local walks then left us to enjoy our stop. The field is flat and you can pitch where you want. It's a working sheep farm with views over to a high point on Offa's Dyke, which... Show more

Host sounded very friendly and welcoming on the phone. I see a lot of people mention the grass being nice and short, not on this occasion, it was very long and hadn't been cut for some time. Quite hard work trudging through the wet grass to find the facilities. However, it is... Show more

This is such a lovely well kept site. Plenty of space and smooth well cut grass. Easy access to interesting places like Chirk Castle and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We also walked from the site joining the Offas Dyke path, or you could walk into Trefonen. A well priced site when... Show more

Stayed here in September 2021. Beautifully well mown, flat lawn with plenty of space. Good waste facilities and a very friendly welcome. The club needs more sites like this for those of us who resent paying for electricity as we don't come away with a van full of electric gadgets.... Show more

We have stayed in a number of smaller sites recently and I think this one ranks with the best. It a large, level, beautifully mown field with the usual facilities but including recycling. I wish I had had time to visit the nearby micro brewery pub - perhaps next time!

Our very first CL stay in May and a great introduction. Very friendly welcome, very quiet, spacious and level field and exceptional value. A handy location too for us breaking a journey to south Wales. Would definitely return.

Everything you could wish for in a CL - a warm welcome (and very helpful on the phone), easy to find, spotlessly clean with excellent water/draining facilities, quiet, level ground. We don't need EHU so it was ideal. Excellent value for money, Would definitely stay again.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners and their dog. The site is very well maintained, secure and flat. We visited in March when the ground was still soft but the owner thoughtfully left a pile of tyre mats out 'just in case', I suggest a... Show more

Warm welcome from the owner. Very well kept site. Ground was level and the grass kept short. Short walk in either direction to a pub. The bus dropped us off at the end of the short drive on our return from Oswestry, we got a lift in, and would presume... Show more
