Peaceful and beautifully maintained site

Wollerton Meadows
Although access via a single track road was a bit daunting, it was worth it. The owners are keen gardeners and the site is surrounded by attractive trees and shrubs. The site is well laid out with generous-sized, and level pitches. There is a water tap and electricity bollard allocated for each pitch - but the former is not on the pitch - and all the waste services (including dog waste bin) are grouped together and are easily accessible. Normally, this site would be very peaceful, as it located well away from any significant roads, but we had the misfortune of arriving when the adjacent field was being baled and the bales were being collected and stacked adjacent to the site. This aside, we have nothing but praise for this site. The owners were friendly, the site was easily accessible to Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Shrewsbury, and - apart from the comment about baling - it was very peaceful and beautifully maintained. We would have no hesitation in strongly recommending this site to other "adult only" caravanners.

A real gem, quite, attractive and welcoming

Wollerton Meadows
We concur with all the previous complimentary comments, this CL is a real gem and deserves to be full, and hard to book all season. John and his wife have painstakingly created a real delightful site to chill out and is diverse of any road noise and the early morning pigeon’s found at so many sites. In over 33 years of visiting up and down the country this site is up there with the best

A perfect stay

Wollerton Meadows
What a gem of a site. Owners are so welcoming and their gardens are beautiful. We had home made afternoon tea in their garden and it was delicious. Very reasonable too. Fresh eggs and blueberries to buy too. Well done Mr and Mrs Bradley. We hope to come back soon.

Highly recommended

Wollerton Meadows
What a lovely site for our first ever trip in our 'new to us caravan' John and Liz were lovely and most helpful saying they were there for anything we needed. Our two retrievers were allowed to go in either of 2 fields off the lead. Gardens were beautiful even for November and we will certainly be returning.
