View on mapWhite House Farm Caravan Park is a peaceful site in a beautiful setting, situated on a small beef, sheep and arable farm on the Staffordshire, North Shropshire and South Cheshire borders. The 1.5-acre site is in an elevated position which gives visitors stunning panoramic views over the neighbouring counties and as far as the Welsh mountains. The CL is situated to the west of the farm house, so is ideally placed to relax, unwind, enjoy the amazing views and take in the breath-taking sunsets. We have four hard standing spacious pitches and one grass pitch - All our pitches have electric hook up and room for an awning at no extra cost. There are separate taps for mains drinking water and rinsing and the usual disposal point is well screened. We encourage recycling on site too. Free Wi-Fi is also available on request and TV reception is good.
Given our position on the borders of 3 counties the site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. We are close to several market towns the closest being Market Drayton (5miles) which still has a large street market every Wednesday. Visitors can also visit the historic towns of Eccleshall, Nantwich, Newcastle and further afield are The Potteries, Stafford, Shrewsbury and Chester.
There are many places of interest to visit and these include Hawkstone Park & Follies, Trentham Park- Monkey Forest, Dorothy Clive Gardens, Fordhall Farm, Wedgewood, Emma Bridgewater, Bridgemere Garden World. Dagfields Craft and Antique centre and Ironbridge Gorge to name but a few. Alton Towers, Cadbury World and The Black Country Museum are all less than one hours drive away. Whatever your interests, then there is something to suit all tastes.
The local village of Loggerheads is only 0.5mile away and has a Co-Op late shop, Post Office, barber and ladies hairdresser and library. There is a village pub, Indian restaurant (that delivers to our site) and a Chinese take away. In surrounding villages there are a variety of country pubs serving food to suit all tastes. Local farm shops can provide your fresh local produce and the nearest to the CL serves lunches and afternoon teas.
For the more active visitors there are plenty of opportunities close at hand and these include several golf courses nearby that welcome visitors: coarse and trout fishing, swimming pools and tennis courts can all be found in Market Drayton. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll in beautiful countryside then there are many beautiful walks locally with OS maps and information available to borrow. We welcome well behaved dogs on leads and an off-site walk is available.
It is our aim for all our visitors to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay on our friendly, family run CL site.
