Why stay here ...

Mr and Mrs Tudge and family will give you a warm welcome to The Bury. The CL is only a short drive away from Ludlow - famous for its food and medieval castle. The site is an ideal base for walking and cycling...The North Herefordshire Trail runs through the farm.

We provide electric hook ups and water for each pitch. There is no toilet or shower block, but there is an emptying tank for your own toilet.

The CL is located within a working farm that specialises in Free Range Rare Breed pork and Seasonal Wild Venison. The produce is sold at farmers markets and local restaurants - it is also available for purchasing onsite....ideal for BBQ's or an amazing breakfast - what is better than home cured bacon to start your day! We do aim to sell out of fresh produce each week so any advance orders will avoid disappointment!!

Please note that as the seasons change, there will be a variety of farming activities taking place in the fields and farm buildings adjacent to the pitches - there is sometimes a great amount of work happening around you during the harvest times.

There is a well stocked village shop and a choice of three pubs all within a mile radius.

We are a working farm and have our own resident dogs so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any other dogs on this site.

A Beautiful View

The Bury CL is a charming farm site nestled in the stunning Shropshire countryside. We received a wonderful welcome from the owner and his dog and found the site to be tidy, safe, and well-maintained. As a working farm, it was bustling with tractors and combine harvesters during the day,... Show more

Total tranquility

We totally endorse the previous outstanding reviews. Despite the typical British weather we had a really relaxing time. A haven of England of old away from the stresses of normal life. The whole extended Tudge family including Bob the dog go out of the way to ensure you are happy... Show more

Lovely place run by lovely people!

This was our second visit to The Bury and yet again we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, surrounded by beautiful farmland. Chris, Charlotte - and Bob, the dog! - are very welcoming hosts, offer help if it is needed, and are more than happy to share... Show more

We will be back!

Chris and Charlotte are lovely, considerate hosts and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived - as did Bob the dog! The Bury is very well located for Ludlow and other interesting small towns in the area, so on our stay we were able to enjoy... Show more

Just what you want

This is a lovely CL on a working farm. It has views over the fields and footpath to fabulous pub (1.5 miles). Pitches are all level, although our awning sloped away from the van, this wasn’t a problem, water and EHU to each pitch with grey waste disposed of... Show more

It’s all been said…

Had our first week’s stay in July at the Bury with Charlotte. What a crackin’ little CL, great location within easy reach of the larger local towns and a community pub only a 30 min pleasant walk away. Got to agree with all the previous reviews and we will be... Show more

The most friendly welcoming site

This has to be the best CL we have ever stayed at. Scenery just beautiful, large pitches on very level ground with their own water tap. Tubs of flowers in the summer and so peaceful. Charlotte and Tom are the nicest people, nothing too much trouble, the farm produce is... Show more
