Quiet peaceful CL in a beautiful area

We stayed at Chapel Lawn Farm CL over the Easter weekend. This is a quiet, peaceful site with a stream running through the field. Electric hookups and water. Helpful owner. Beautiful area for walking. We also cycled to Knighton and enjoyed the Offas Dyke centre.

A hidden gem

We came across this CL by accident - a pleasant surprise. Lovely location with the stream running alongside the field, individual picnic table for each pitch, and plenty of information available in the box provided. Super walks from the field, and very clean and efficient services. We stayed an extra... Show more

Peace and countryside

A lovely field with a brook at the bottom of a valley near a small village. Lovely scenery and walks - a walk up to chapel lawn (ancient fort) is well worth it - watch out for cows though! Farmer is lovely and friendly. No mobile phone reception at the field (ee,... Show more

Peace and beauty, away from it all

This is a tranquil site in a peaceful valley which feels miles from anywhere. The field has plenty of space, and the picnic table for each site is a lovely touch. There are fabulous views across the valley, and lots of sheep and cattle around. The farmhouse... Show more

Stayed here as an overnight stop on our Shropshire tour recently. Arrived in torrential rain to a site that although grass was well drained and accessible. The site is about 300m from the farm but when you arrive there is an information board with details of absolutely everything you... Show more

Just right

We stayed here for a weekend earlier in the summer, what an absolutely fantastic site! We were very lucky with the weather so all the kids and dogs spent most of the time playing in the pretty stream which ran along side us. This is what camping should be like,... Show more

Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.

This site is really lovely, its a nice field with trees and a stream to one side. Picnic benches are a welcome addition. We levelled the van easily. I believe there are toilets near the farmhouse which is a short stroll up a quiet country lane, we didn't need to... Show more

Pleasant site in middle of nowhere

A proper CL this, a field next to a stream, with the regulation 5 pitches, each with electric hookup. Owner has added a picnic table for each pitch also. Set in a beautiful peaceful valley. Do be aware that that's it - be sure to bring... Show more
