The CL is ideal for those who are looking for a quiet weekend away in the countryside. The Mounts has excellent walking opportunities over the Clee Hill. For those who wish to explore, why not take a trip to Ludlow? The Severn Valley Railway is a short drive to either Bridgnorth or Bewdley. For the children, West Midlands Safari Park and the Ironbridge Gorge are within easy reach.
Margaret is more than happy to give advice on walks and cycle routes in and around Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire. Brochures and pamphlets are available to meet all needs.
The Mount has facilities for people who also wish to bring their own horses. The horses can be stabled at The Mounts with direct access to pen riding country. Costs for this service are available on request.

We have spent several weeks on this site over several visits and thoroughly love it. There is wildlife all around and the views across woodland and pasture are beautiful. The site can get bogged down in winter months if there is a lot of rain as thee was in December... Show more

Great location for walking around the Clee Hills and Common. Large site, well kept. Margaret very friendly. Very tranquil, horses in adjoining field. Good site for spotting deer and hares. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were the first visitors to this site, very easy access and all facilities had been recently done to a high standard. Margaret the owner came round to see us .The whole area is really great If you have children the Wyre forest has a high level activity scheme zip wires... Show more
