We are situated within the beautiful countryside of Shropshire and within walking distance of Ditton Priors. Ditton Priors is situated at the foot of the highest hill in Shropshire with outstanding views from the summit, a perfect walk on a nice sunny day, also a haven for mountain bikers. The village has many facilities including: Willows Café, Traditional Pub – The Howard Arms, a renowned local butcher and a warming village shop.
The site is set on a working farm offering 5 stand (16 AMP) electrical hook ups, various water fill points, flushing Elsan, wastewater station and recycling area.
Whether its relaxing on site that takes your fancy or exploring the picturesque natural beauty by the various walks it's up to you. From the site you can peacefully walk to the village of Ditton Priors to explore its History and then stop for a refreshing Lunch at either the Local Café or Pub, whichever you fancy.
Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Ironbridge are all situated within a short drive. All of which have forever lasting history. Bridgnorth and Ludlow containing remains of major castles that have been involved in many major historical events. Bridgnorth being one of the major Royalist strongholds. Ludlow Castle being a ruined medieval fortification.
Outside of Ditton Priors there is a range of country pubs, each having its own taste of food. Choose from: The Boyne, Pheasant, Down Inn or Three Horseshoes all serving locally sourced produce and Real Ale's. The Boyne offering a free return taxi providing a meal is purchased. From a car to minibus depending on how many of you fancy dining.
Friendly dogs are welcomed, a small charge will be enforced.
