John and Allie welcome you to Lashlake Barn CL located in the historic market town of Thame famous as the location for Midsomer Murders.
Our secluded 1 acre site is level, lawned and surrounded by mature trees with Red Kites nesting, and coarse fishing on the River Thame on-site (rod license required).
A 10 minute walk into Thame offers an array of local shops, pubs and restaurants including Waitrose, Raymond Blanc's brasserie and a market every Tuesday. Adjacent to Wynnstay country stores (supply gas), Thame Church and Thame cricket ground.
There is a bus stop opposite the site for direct access to Oxford, Aylesbury and Haddenham Parkway for trains to London.
Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons' and Waddesdon Manor are nearby.
Access via secure electric gates.
There is no electric car charging at this site.
PLEASE NOTE: Showers and toilets are closed.

This hit the spot

Just Perfect

A great relaxing site
John makes you feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble for him to make you stay happy. Pitches are of a good size. So peaceful and relaxing. Bus to Oxford city, 2 min walk. I will return.

Great location and peaceful
Lovely open site surrounded by tall trees Very well kept Very near the town Set back from road so no noise Basic facilities but perfect if you are self sufficient Price good. Such a Charming Site!
What a great find! John was very welcoming to his lovely CL which is located near the heart of the pretty town of Thame, yet still retained a rural feel with sheep in the next field, red kites flying overhead and a river at the end of the level... Show more

Fabulous CL
John was friendly & welcome. Spacious, peaceful site with flat pitches throughout. Easy access to Thame by foot. Resident hens wandering around the site. Definitely plan to return.

Great place to visit! I’ll definitely return
Flat and peaceful, and felt very safe. Loved the free roaming chickens and the warm welcome that I received. Brilliant location easy walking distance to Thame with its shops restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable six night stay
This is a lovely site with a friendly and helpful owner. Well tended grassed pitches with mature trees and flowing water on the boundaries. Very secure with automated gates and such easy access to Thame shopping centre. A Waitrose is an easy walk away. We also... Show more
