View and BookOur flat green field site of 3.5 acres is located on the outskirts of Dorchester on Thames with its picturesque abbey and former coaching inns. Our local market towns are Abingdon and Wallingford which are both a 10 to 15 minute drive. Oxford city with its dreaming spires, museums, restaurants and bars is a 10 minute drive and our local bus service (within walking distance of the site) gives easy access if you want to leave the car behind. This is a great site to use as a base to explore the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside, much of which is regularly used as TV and film locations.
We have a chemical disposal point and drinking water tap in one corner of the field with a second drinking water tap halfway down the field.

We enjoyed a couple of nights here. The field and facilities are very well maintained, and we got a very friendly welcome. We took the bus in to Oxford one day, and also had a riverside walk and enjoyed visiting the abbey church in nearby Dorchester on Thames,

A fabulous little gem of a site. We have just spent 4 nights here and are sad to be leaving. Perfect for lovely walks or short bus rides into Wallingford or Oxford. The owner, Nicky, couldn’t have been more helpfull. Will definitely be back.
