Excellent and peaceful stay

Just spent a week at this fab CL site. Very hospitable owner and son. Good access to places to visit, very quiet and spacious pitches. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh eggs available (thanks Harry) - no hesitation in returning.

Wonderful few days at this tranquil site

A lovely few days spent at this beautiful, peaceful site. Very clean and well kept. The farm was easy to find and the roads leading up to it were wide enough to tow a 8ft van - we travelled through Whalton vs the smaller back roads. Upon arrival we... Show more

Pleasant site but over-priced

This is a nice basic CL on a quiet road with easy access and friendly reception. However, I think it is over-priced at £25, considering it has just the one tap and a waste emptying area in the middle of the field with no fence round it. I would have... Show more

More than the 5 caravans/motorhomes booked on to the site!

The friendly owner was quick to come out and welcome us on arrival and the site is well kept. The negative point was the 7 caravans/motorhomes squeezed on to the half an acre on one day/night and 6 for another day/night, we felt a bit like sardines! We won't return... Show more
