Easington Farm CL site is set within a working mixed organic farm. The site comprises a grass paddock with hard surfaced roadways and spacious hardstanding pitches. The site enjoys exceptional views out over the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty including the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and its castle. Each pitch extends to 10m x 10m in total comprising 10m x 4m hardstanding with an additional 3m of grass either side. Each pitch has its own dedicated water and electrical hook-up points. Home grown organic eggs are usually available on-site too. The site enjoys excellent 4G mobile phone network coverage – Ofcom lists it as full 4G coverage on EE, O2, Vodafone and Three.

The Location

The location is an ideal base providing easy access to explore the Northumbrian Coast and Countryside direct from your door with direct access onto to the Northumberland Coastal Route which passes the site and makes a good walking or cycle route to local attractions including several listed below.

The Northumberland Coastal Path and St Oswald's Way footpath actually pass through the farm within short walking distance of the site (information on these and other recommended walking routes availabile to site guests can be found on our website). The A1 Trunk Road is also within 1 mile giving excellent access to the greater area. Other local attractions are close at hand including Budle Bay (1 mile), Bamburgh Castle & Beach (4 miles), Seahouses (7.5 miles) St Cuthbert's Cave (6 miles walking, 8 miles driving), and the Sandstone Way cycle route (5 miles). Other very popular destinations include the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (8 miles), Chillingham Castle and Wild Cattle (10 miles), Northumberland National Park (11 miles) and Alnwick Castle and Gardens (17 miles), all within 20 minute drive.

Local Amenities

There is a Co-op / Post Office shop in Belford (1.5 miles) which is very well equipped as well as several pubs and a fish and chip shop. There is also a Co-op in Seahouses together with fresh fish sellers. For other shopping and leisure needs Berwick upon Tweed (15 miles) and Alnwick (17 miles) are vey good, both can be reached directly via the A1 Trunk Road. There are numerous pubs and restaurants in proximity.

Improvements to pitch awning areas have been completed for the 2022 season.
