We stayed here in our campervan in August for 2 nights. We really enjoyed staying here as quiet, friendly and pitches well; spaced out with good amenities. Nice quiet site with friendly owners. As description, hard standing and grass, drinking water, Eleanor and bin only. Thirty five minute walk via industrial estate to town and castle , £10 taxi back. At present £22 / night with 240v ok for what it is.

Another 2 night stay at this very convenient site.Use as a stopping point on the way to Scotland. Very easy access and good walking from the site. Also good to access the coast.

We stayed here in April 2023. It is very peaceful with nice level pitches and as others have said it is extremely convenient for visiting Alnwick and Alnmouth. Alnwick is a walkable distance and the cycle path to Alnwick runs past the site (though its a hilly cycle!). It borders... Show more

Mr and Mrs weddell were very sociable and friendly. We stayed for 2 weeks and could have stayed longer. The area is lovely. The site was nice and clean . Plenty of places to walk the dog. The industrial site near us didn't bother us at all,... Show more

We used this very convenient CL for two night stops on our outward and homeward journey and on both occasions received a cheery welcome. Access, although narrow, is good for larger outfits and we had no trouble finding this CL which is just off the A1 Access to the services... Show more

Excellent CL, very close to A1 which is ideal and you would have to listen closely to hear the road! Hard standing with convenient disposal and fresh water. £18 is good value Owner gave lots of local information. We experienced a lovely bike ride along the cycle route... Show more

We have just enjoyed a 4 night stay at this friendly and well kept CL. The site is smaller than some but not overcrowded with each unit having a hard standing, a decent sized grassy patch and dedicated parking space.
