Chillingham Castle
Gardens, lakes, fountains one of the most haunted castles in England with a ‘Torture Chamber’ and Ghost tours.
View and BookBrandon Ford CL is situated right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park in the Breamish Valley in a quiet and peaceful corner of an otherwise busy, working family farm. The River Breamish is less than 20 metres from the CL and is perfect for paddling or a spot of birdwatching.
The surrounding area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor pursuits particularly walking, cycling and exploring the countryside.
The Pennine and Sandstone Way cycle routes run past the CL. Over the river is Branton Nature Reserve where there are two large ponds which attract lots of wildlife, there is a bird hide too.
A short distance away in Powburn is a convenience store and post office, and there is a lovely café just one mile further up the valley at Ingram.
Brandon Ford CL is family friendly, and accepts 2 dogs per pitch.
All pitches are hardstanding and have individual EHU, water and grey water drains, all within the hardstand.
