View and BookWe have a lovely South facing, grass pitched site on the outskirts of a well served village only 10 miles North of York. Within a short walking distance are pub/restaurants, fish and chips and a village shop. Public bus services passes the site entrance and can take you to York or numerous market towns in the vicinity. We are perfectly situated for exploring Herriot country. The North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Kilburn White Horse, Castle Howard, several National Trust properties and of course the beautiful city of York. Enjoy a small fresh herb selection and the paw washing area when visiting site.

This site was still suitable for use despite all the poor weather we have all been experiencing! Well drained, good hedge to protect from the wind, and lovely spacious pitches. Grass well maintained and cut frequently. Good information sent prior to arrival and we had a peaceful relaxing week. Clean facilities... Show more

We have stayed here 3 times and will definately be going back as we love it loads, such a beautiful site and Huby is a 10 minute walk away which has a very dog friendly pub, a Cantonese pub , a chippy, local shop, what more could you want for... Show more

What a great site! Lovely area, nice walk into Huby Village. Recommend food at The Mended Drum. Fresh eggs for sale in the info shack. Peaceful site. Paul the owner really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be be back. Laura & Tom

This was our 2nd visit to Oxclose & won't be our last. The site is a 20 min walk from Huby village where there is a fish & chip shop, Cantonese & pub. The site itself is flat & has a info shed containing lots of leaflets & free range... Show more

Just stayed for one night. Paul couldn't be more helpful, booking was very easy and visited us on site to make sure everything was fine and to pass on some helpful information. Very clean and tidy and even an information shack onsite with all local information on places to visit... Show more
