View and BookOak Tree Farm is situated 7 miles west of the beautiful, historical city of York with all it has to offer. The working farm is ideally situated 10 mins from York/Harrogate road, 10 mins from the A1 at Wetherby, and 10 mins from the A64 Leeds/scarborough road on very flat land. The south facing CL is in a peaceful location overlooking the fields with our pedigree South Devon herd as your view.
35 mins drive from beautiful spa town of Harrogate, 20 mins drive from Knaresborough and an hour from the seaside, Scarborough, Filey etc.
You can explore the Yorkshire dales within 45 minutes, visit Leyburn , Middleham, Bedale and the picturesque surrounding countryside. Take the Heritage steam train through the North Yorkshire Moors or take city break in a rural location.
York itself has a vast amount of attractions including the magnificent York Minster, eat/drink by the river ouse, shopping in and outside the city, wonderful walks along the bar walls,ancient streets like The Shambles,Stonegate etc.
The area surrounding us is great for the cycling enthusiasts, and we have some beautiful walks too.
Poppleton, Green Hammerton, train stations will take you to Leeds/York/Harrogate, York main station is 20 mins away, all with parking. Alternatively the park and ride into York is at Poppleton 10 mins away.
Oak Tree Farm has it all, and is a peaceful and tranquil spot as well as being well located to suit all your needs.

What a find this place was! Me and my fiancée took our new motorhome out for its first outing, tying it in with her work commitments up North. We weren't disappointed. We found this site when looking for somewhere local to try out a new mattress that we had bought for our caravan, and we are so glad we stayed here. The pitches are all on level grass with loads of space in between them with views across a field... Show more

We stayed, luckily, when the weather was fabulous. The site is beautiful, with a cute little shower and a well maintained toilet block nearby. Our neighbours were a herd of young cows who regularly walked over to watch us! In addition we saw hares playing in the field, kites flying... Show more

The site is level, very well maintained, with all facilities close together and in good condition. The toilet building is just outside the CL itself but is excellent. The location is in a pleasant area west of York where there are few other CLs so suited us well, cycle rides... Show more

Just back from a short stay here at Oak Tree Farm. Clear, concise directions and Info Sheet sent over by Sam 2 days by return was very helpful. Quiet little site, big open pitch, level. 7/08-21/08 2022 We had a lovely two week stay on this site. It is so peaceful and well kept. Sam and Tim are lovely hosts who are around if you need and even sent their daughter over to give us dog walk information!!! They are very kind. Great facilities on site.... Show more
