View on mapCrockey Hill York Caravan Site is a peaceful site, only 10 minutes from the beautiful city of York and is perfect for a city break in a rural setting. The site is located on a large flat field with ample space for an awning, surrounded by mature trees and hedges. All our pitches have the option of electric hook up. We are open from March through to December with good draining sandy land for the winter months.
We have a communal drinking water tap, grey and waste disposal points and recycling facilities. We do not have a shower/toilet block.
There is a bus stop adjacent to the site which is a main bus route into York. The buses run regularly 7 days a week throughout the day and night so you can visit all of York’s many tourist attractions, with late buses on a Friday/Saturday night so you can enjoy the many bars and restaurants on offer.
McArthur Glen Designer Outlet is only a couple of minutes away with many shops and food outlets and is also home to the York Park & Ride.
For the cyclist there is easy access to Route 65/66 cycle track to York and beyond.
We are only a 10 minute drive from York Racecourse or alternatively you can walk or catch a bus from the city centre.
We have plenty of villages within a 1 – 3 mile radius with lovely local shops and pubs serving home cooked food. There is a farm shop just a 2 minute walk from the site.
This site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area with easy access to the East Coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.
