Why stay here ...

Situated in a picturesque setting overlooking Pen-y-Ghent, adjacent to our beautiful Georgian B&B and self contained holiday let. Ideal as a base to tackle the other two peaks, Ingleborough and Whernside, either individually or as part of the classic Three Peak Challenge.

Many other low level walks are available from the door. A short drive away is the famous Ribblehead viaduct, Wensleydale creamery at Hawes, and the spectacular Malham Cove.

We are 6 miles from Settle and a few minutes drive from the Cumbrian and Lancashire borders.

An ideal base for train enthusiasts and cyclists, with a direct view of the Settle to Carlisle railway, the station being a 5 minute walk away. There is always plenty to do.

We operate a quiet site, children have a great playground with zip wire, swings, climbing frame, tennis courts and playing field adjacent to The Rowe House.

Great well-kept CL site with fab views

Stayed 5 nights in campervan, weather was kind for our stay! Friendly, very helpful hosts, lovely well-kept site on edge of Horton in Ribblesdale. Grass pitches, good-sized, modern, clean toilet/shower room plus separate utility room with sink, local information and more. All kept in beautiful order by the hosts Robert... Show more

So friendly and helpful

I booked 2 nights on the site as I was working nearby. Robert took time to personally show me where everything was and the best place to park given the very wet weather. Very nice, clean shower/toilet room. Great to have lots of space instead of a tight cubicle. Lovely... Show more

A Super CL

We stayed for two nights in the middle of some pretty wet and windy Yorkshire weather. However, this didn’t detract from the stunning location once the cloud lifted. A stunning view of Pen Y Ghent presented itself, and we loved the easy access to many of the Dales’ stunning roads. Robert... Show more

Glorious!

A really glorious Caravan & Motorhome Club "CL". Fairly large, grass site with just 5 pitches. The owners also have a B&B in the adjacent, lovely house. Very friendly and helpful owners, Jane and Robert. Very well maintained site, with just one combined loo, sink and shower room - very... Show more

I cannot praise this lovely site enough. For those who like peace and quiet under the gaze of the glorious Pen-y-Ghent, then look no further than The Rowe House. Robert & Jane are very welcoming and provide plenty of advice during the booking process. CL guests... Show more

Five star CL

We booked up at fairly short notice and received excellent information and communications from Jane who was equally helpful when we arrived for our two night stay last week. The large, sheltered site is pleasantly located on the edge of the village, next to a road (not busy) and the... Show more

Fabulous location for The Yorkshire Three Peaks area.

This was a last minute few days away but somewhere I wanted to be this year for walking. I wasn't expecting to be able to get booked up for 5 nights but we struck it lucky. Booking up is quite formalised compared to other CL's I have used but I... Show more

A splendid place to walk and relax

We started by booking 2 nights, but stayed for 4! Says it all, a beautiful location with hosts who were so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond expectations. We did fabulous walks straight from the site and so many more left to do. We’ll be back!
