Super little site

First time to this site and what a gem. Owner Alison very friendly and told us to park down at the bottom on a hard standing pitch which had loads of space and privacy for out 4 dogs. Quite a narrow entrance especially with cars parked at side of road.... Show more

Superb CL

We're onsite now on mid April 2023. Sun is shining, birds are twittering, deer visiting, red kites soaring, rabbits wandering. The list is endless, such a relaxed atmosphere. An absolutely fantastic CL for our needs.

Pretty village location, quiet, family/dog friendly, excellent value

Had several happy memories staying here. Owner Alison is very friendly. Pretty village location, the annual duck race is great fun and well worth staying for! Entrance is narrow but no issues getting in and out, even with a large outfit, Sloping site, some hard standing. The lower pitches can... Show more

Nice location

We stayed for one night in September. Nice site, some sloping pitches. Pretty village - pub next door was closed when we were there but Masons Arms in the village was lovely. Ok for one night, although shower and toilet were a bit manky. Nice location in pretty village.

Great for a stop over

We stayed a few nights in September. Very easy to get to from the A61 and would be perfect for a quick stop over. It is near to days out too. The entrance is quite narrow, especially when turning in from the road so careful driving is needed. No welcome... Show more

Wonderful location for an excellent site!

We have been here on numerous occasions and love it. The owner is very friendly and approachable, a pleasure to meet. The site itself is flat at the top and bottom with a slope in-between. There is also a pitch tucked off to the side behind some trees which I... Show more

Approach from road opposite entrance , it's much easier , but then bit tight in between cottages to reach the site . Pitches 1+2 at top and 5 at bottom pretty flat with room to manouver , but pitches 3 and 4 quite sloping and tight to manouver . No... Show more

Good holiday but poor remains

This was a stupendous site but unfortunately the state of the shower and the toilet left them open to abuse-they were absolutely fit for only purpose to animals. Such a shame as the whole experience could have been so much better...we wont be going there again! However a good pub... Show more

Wonderful site.

Lovely little site in the heart of a beautiful village. Entrance is a little tight and when pulling out its best to go straight on rather than turning right. Plenty of hard standing at the top of the site. Shower and Toilet nice and clean although a little outdated but... Show more
